About me
Christina is currently one of the Mathematics Consultants/Coaches at Hamilton County ESC and spends most of her days working collaboratively with K-12 teachers in their classrooms. She has been part an Instructional Coach with HCESC since 2004. Prior to her work at the ESC, Christina taught high school mathematics at her alma mater, Fairfield High School in Butler County. Christina is a Past-President of the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics and currently serves as the Conference Facilitator for OCTM. Christina represents Southwest Ohio as one of ODE’s Regional Network Leaders for Mathematics and she has been an active participant in the Ohio Mathematics Education Leadership Council, Southwest Ohio’s Council of Teachers of Mathematics, ODE’s Model Curriculum Writing Team for Gr 6-8 Statistics & Probability, OGT Content Advisory Committee, Standards Review Advisory Committee, Ohio Resource Center Math Review Board, Cincy Math Teachers’ Circle, and Ohio Math/Science Supervisors Committee. At Hamilton County ESC, Christina provides Mathematics support to a wide range of districts and co-facilitates the Council of Mathematics and Instructional Coaching Institute. Christina believes in the power of collaboration (especially Twitter) and works hard to get Southwest Ohio teachers connected to our amazing education community in Ohio and beyond.
